Trafficable Waterproofing System
Multiblast was engaged by Pradella (Pradstruct) to complete a complex waterproofing and coating installation for a podium car park deck. This high-performance system, installed in South East Queensland, featured the use of Flowcrete’s Deckshield ED Rapide – a fast-curing methyl methacrylate car park deck coating system designed to handle intense traffic, movement, and exposure.
The specification included a 5-coat application comprising a highly flexible waterproofing membrane and durable top coats, delivered across 2,000 square metres. The Deckshield ED Rapide system offered crack-bridging, slip-resistance, and vibrant colour retention even under harsh environmental conditions. Unique circular pattern designs were included, requiring a high level of planning, precision, and out-of-the-box thinking by the Multiblast team.
This project reinforces Multiblast’s expertise in car park epoxy flooring and waterproof membrane systems throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, and surrounding commercial precincts.
