Multiblast has delivered a number of industrial epoxy flooring projects for the Australian Defence Force, including high-spec installations at the RAAF Amberley Air Base in Queensland. A recent milestone included the full floor coating replacement at the 33 Squadron Aircraft Maintenance Facility, spanning 5,000 square meters. Given the nature of the site, chemical resistance, durability, and impact performance were key priorities.
Multiblast collaborated closely with Flowcrete Australia and Defence stakeholders to install a custom 3mm thick, self-levelling epoxy system. This system consisted of Flowshield SL, Flowcoat SK, and Deckshield UV – engineered to withstand chemical spills, UV exposure, and heavy-duty aircraft maintenance activities. The result was a smooth, bright white surface offering enhanced light reflectivity, safety, and long-term resilience.
